Brief HISTORY
Rise Sport, an African American owned company, was founded in by husband and wife team Akbar & Theresa Majeed, specializing in developing new and innovative properties which merge sports, apparel & entertainment.
Over the years Rise has developed a number of sports properties like Rise Basketball, Concrete2Green, The C2G Futsal Center and produced film projects like Ambassadors of Hoops
Rise Sport started its licensed sport’s business, initially with the NBA and later expanded by adding NHL and MLS licensed products.
Next, Rise expanded and launched RiseAD, its art eyewear brand, which infuses art & designs into its frames, creating Fashionable Art Eyewear.
